Year 11 English GCSE Intervention at the CLC
On the 28th April a group of fifteen Year 11 pupils were invited to the North Sefton City Learning Centre (CLC) for a day's intervention designed to help with examination study skills and performance.
They spent the day using the CLC's technology to tackle various aspects of exam performance such as: using time effectively, spotting potential difficulties in the exam paper, planning effectively and refining their descriptive writing skills.
All of the pupils involved said they thought the day was useful and more importantly their behaviour and attitude was excellent - a credit to the school!
