Coursework
The coursework component of the GCSE Astronomy contributes 25% to the total final mark. Two pieces of coursework must be completed, one observational (from A) and one either graphical and computational OR constructional (either B1 or B2).

Edexcel have produced two documents containing coursework guidance. These can be accessed from the table on the homepage. The guidance gives suggested coursework topics as well as giving examples of other students' work.
Two coursework guidance sessions wil be offered during the year, one in November and one in early February, to take place at Christ the King. Dates will be e-mailed to you as soon as they are confirmed. You can of course, e-mail or telephone for advice/guidance at any time.
