DT: Tools & Equipment
For this assignment you are asked to write a ‘Glossary of terms’ that will help you learn the key tools and processes that are important to each of the subject areas in Design and Technology. In your glossary you should have 4 columns:
- The name of a tool or process
- A hand drawn picture
- The function of the tool or process
- The safety issues associated with the tool or process
The homework is specifically linked to having an understanding of the tools, equipment and processes you will encounter during your Design and Technology modules. By completing this assignment you will develop your knowledge, skills and understanding of the tools and equipment so that you can use them effectively and safely.
