At CTK6 our overriding ambition is to provide our students with opportunities to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of leadership, citizenship, career opportunities, problem solving and be prepared for their post 18 journey whatever that may be.

Our curriculum extends beyond the academic, technical and vocational. It provides for learners’ broader development, enabling them to develop and discover their interests and talent.

Our programme and wider work supports our students to develop their character – including their resilience, confidence and independence – and help them know how to keep physically and mentally healthy. We strive to provide a flexible, meaningful and relevant personal development programme that meets the needs of our cohort. Promoting opportunities for widening participation, careers and skill development to ensure students leave CTK6 prepared to be effective citizens.
