Grow, learn, serve and pray in a Catholic community inspired by the Gospel message, enabling all to realise their unique hopes and potential.
Headteacher Welcome
At Christ the King we are a school community underpinned by Gospel values and principles. It is our core purpose to prepare our young people for the exciting challenges and opportunities ahead. Our curriculum inspires a lifelong passion for learning and equips our pupils with confidence, skills and attitude to lead successful and fulfilling lives.
We challenge and inspire all pupils to be the best version of themselves. Our ethos is built around a culture of enjoyment and achievement. We believe that when joining our team as a pupil, parent/carer, staff member or a member of the local community, by embracing our values of high aspiration, transformation experience and excellent achievement, we will deliver outstanding educational outcomes for all.

BBC Radio Merseyside is hosting its annual Make a Difference Awards. Every day, we hear stories of people doing incredible things for each other and our community - now it’s time to recognise them for all their hard work. This year, we are launching a brand-new category called the ‘Young Hero’ award and we want to honour young people who have gone above and beyond for their communities.
Do you know a child or young person, under 16, who has done something extraordinary to help someone in their community? Are they a keen fundraiser? A dedicated litter-picker? Do they offer help on a regular basis to improve the lives of those around them?
The BBC are asking you if you know of a ‘Young Hero’ who deserves recognition and that you nominate them for our ‘Young Hero’ award. For a full list of categories and details of how to nominate someone, go to www.bbc.co.uk/makeadifference - where you can also see full Terms and our Privacy notice. Nominations are open now and close on the 31 st of March at 5pm.
We’ve attached a bespoke graphic to accompany it. Nominations are now open for the BBC Radio Merseyside Make a Difference Awards 2025.
