Personal Development
At Christ the King we strive to develop our pupils and students to be resilient, confident and independent young people who have the knowledge and skills needed to make informed choices enabling them to lead happy and healthy lives, contributing positively to society and being successful at each stage of life. As pupils journey through our school we provide our pupils with a range of experiences that will develop their character, cultural capital and to thrive in life in modern Britain.
These experiences include a wide range of extra curricular clubs such as sports, performing arts, 3D design, and robotics club. Pupils also have the opportunity to go on a number of different trips and visits including local, national and international, such as the Skiing, trips to Germany and Spain to name a few.
We also have a range of leadership/volunteering opportunities for our pupils to engage in such as Sports leaders, Student Council, House Captains, Anti Bullying Ambassadors and the Pupil Ambassador leadership team. These opportunities seek to develop our pupils leadership skills, their confidence and a range of experiences that they can use to prepare them for further education and employment.
