Extra curricular

Curriculum areas across the school offers a broad range of activities before school, at lunchtime, and after school to enhance and support the curriculum provision in creative, stimulating and challenging ways. As you can see when you look at the timetable our extra curricular provision offers different ways in which pupils can go above and beyond to discover their true potential and talents:

• Support – Providing resources and facilities to allow all pupils to achieve their potential in their subjects be it one to one guidance from members of staff to use of computers and facilities to produce their best work.

• Enrichment – Providing opportunities for our pupils to discover talents they never knew they had, from hiring out the music rehearsal studio to learning how to use Photoshop in Media club. You could even try different ways to keep you mentally and physically active through the wide range of sports clubs on after school and at lunchtimes.

At Christ the King Catholic High School, we believe that taking part in activities outside the classroom is important for students to build positive relationships, develop self-esteem and lead an active and healthy lifestyle. The broad range of extra-curricular opportunities that our school provides, allows our pupils to develop their character along with essential life skills that they can use in the next stage of their lives.
