The CTK6 Careers programme
The CTK6 Careers programme is comprehensive and designed to meet the needs of our cohort. We aim to develop the programme yearly in order to ensure that CTK6 students are kept up to date with the latest developments and opportunities.
As part of our Career’s programme we offer students individual advice on career opportunities that would be suitable for them. UCAS advice is tailored around the needs and aspirations of what our students would like to do in the future. Our programme includes:
An informed transition into Year 12
A bespoke Sixth form Mentoring programme
A full week of career’s advice including opportunities to meet professionals and engage in interview practice.
A week of Work Experience in which students can select placements that interest them
Knowledgeable staff able to give advice on future career opportunities.
A full UCAS programme including provision for early entry to Oxbridge and Medical qualifications.
We are proud as an institution in meeting and fulfilling each of the Gatsby Benchmarks for education:
A stable Careers programme
Learning from Career and labour market information
Addressing the needs of each pupil
Linking curriculum learning to careers
Encounters with employers and employees
Experience of workplaces
Encounters with further and higher education
