Required for September 2025 a well-qualified teacher of RE to join an established, creative, committed and supportive team.
This post offers an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to be part of an exciting school community where pupils enjoy a calm and respectful environment that helps them to study and learn. Pupils and staff are immensely proud to be part of the fantastic and supportive community here at CtK. We are a school with very low staff turnover due to the commitment of leaders to the staff workload/work life balance strategy that we have. Teachers can take their PPA time at home which provided staff with the quality time needed for planning and preparing great teaching.
The post would suit an ambitious teacher seeking a stimulating, supportive working environment. The teacher appointed will be an excellent practitioner, able to engage and challenge pupils to enable them to achieve their best. You will ensure that the highest possible standards in the department are met and that all pupils reach their full potential. The successful candidate must be able to: establish good relationships with pupils to inspire learning; promote interest in the subjects and ensure high achievement; be able to work well with colleagues in the department and across the school; have commitment and initiative and a ‘can do’ approach, willing to make a contribution to the catholic life of the school and ensure all our pupils achieve the best possible outcomes.
Christ the King Catholic High School is a mixed 11-19 school in Southport and we are a school community underpinned by Gospel values and principles.
