What course do we offer?

We offer BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care, this course is the equivalent to one A-Level 


What do you study?

The Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care (single award) will allow you to study a variety of topics covered in four units over the two years. Through studying these units you will have the chance to build awareness and understanding of contemporary issues in health and social care.  You will study units such as s Human Lifespan and Development and Meeting Individual Care Needs.



Assessment

During the two year course you will be externally assessed by sitting two examinations and you will complete two pieces of coursework.

Progression 

This qualification will allow you to progress into further education at University or it can also lead to a higher level apprenticeship
